Experience the festival of lights in the midst of polar night more spectacular than ever.
Witness the enchanting Polar Night Light Festival 2025 light installation in Ruka! The world's northernmost light installation on the slopes will glow again in January amidst the polar night, displaying more vibrant colors and lights than ever before.
Behind the light installation are Sun Effects, Ruka Ski Resort, and the local tourism association, bringing a spectacular display of light art for the eighth time from January 10th to February 3rd, 2025. You can witness the light artwork while skiing down the slopes, taking a gondola ride for an aerial view, or strolling through Ruka Village. The event is free, but most of the display is strategically placed on the ski slopes.
